A CONSCIOUS CHOICE:
WECARE TONER CARTRIDGES

Have you opted for sustainable business practices? WECARE provides a wide range of high-quality remanufactured toner cartridges

Guarantee on quality

Our toner cartridges are of high quality, competitively priced and environmentally friendly. A rigorous production process and thorough research underlie this attractive alternative.
Intensive quality controls are carried out during the whole development and production process. This is how we can guarantee that WECARE toners work to perfection. This is why we provide a 100% guarantee on our products

Sustainable printing helps you reach your CSR objective

500 million empty cartridges end up in incinerators and landfills each year. Reuse of cartridges is better for the environment and complies with all CSR requirements. The carbon footprint of a remanufactured cartridge as opposed to a new cartridge is 25-40% lower. For instance, 3.5 litres of oil are needed on average to produce one new original toner cartridge. It then takes 1000 years for one empty cartridge to degrade. Remanufactured cartridges go through a full end-of-life process, which means that the environmental impact is much lower. Sustainable printing with WECARE products can therefore make a valuable contribution towards meeting your CSR objectives.

Controlled production process

WECARE gives cartridges a second life by making them suitable for reuse. This occurs through a controlled production process with high standards. The production process comprises the following steps:

  • collecting and sorting empty cartridges All cartridges received are inspected and sorted by type and quality.
  • cleaning The dismantled cartridges are cleaned in an ionising tunnel.
  • preparing for production Optimally calibrating the machines for production.
  • filling The cartridge is filled with carefully weighed toner.
  • assembly The cartridge is assembled according to rigorous procedures.
  • testing Each cartridge is individually tested before it is packaged.

Lifelong guarantee

Intensive quality controls are carried out during the whole development and production process. This means we can issue the guarantee that the ARMOR toners work to perfection and comply with all requirements. For this reason, there is a lifelong guarantee on the ARMOR toners. According to the guarantee conditions, you will be fully refunded for a faulty toner cartridge or it will be replaced.

Should an ARMOR toner cause provable damage to a printer in spite of our quality assurance, this damage will likewise be fully compensated. For this you can contact the supplier you purchased the toner from.

Quality labels

The following quality labels apply to our toner cartridges.

ASTM

Standard designed by remanufacturing industry professionals.

Main requirements:

  • drop test
  • optical density measurement

DIN 33870

Established by the “Deutsche Institut für Normung” which regulates the quality and reliability of the recycling of monochromatic toner cartridges.

Main requirements:

  • individual product traceability
  • measuring of optical density and adhesion of toner
  • AMES test: measurement of toxicity of the components

NORDIC ECOLABEL

Scandinavian eco-label, introduced in 1989.

Main requirements:

  • collecting used cartridges
  • dealing responsibly with production waste
  • providing the same quality as new cartridges
  • providing information to end users

Technical standard established by ISO and IEC to determine the yield of colour toner cartridges.

  • carry out tests in a controlled environment: temperature and air humidity
  • test yield with three sets of four cartridges (black, cyan, magenta, yellow) on three different printers. A total of 36 cartridges are tested.
